Happy second birthday to my second solo record! Well its two years today that it came out. I guess the conception was a year before that when I started writing the songs that would become the record, making an album really is like a creative pregnancy, we mark the birth rather than the conception.
I wrote the songs in various places around the world, mostly in European cities like Berlin and Stockholm as well as my favourite place Montreux AND a little on my US trips to Nashville and LA. I recorded much of the record sat in may house back in Derby and then the end game actualisation was in Shokan upstate New York at my friend Brooks house.
